New York Philharmonic
The Public Relations Department of the New York Philharmonic is our longest client relationship. Jessi picked up a freelance project from them way back in 2004, and we've been working together ever since. They are a fun group that gets to handle a lot of fun projects, like tours and press conferences and special concerts. And the perks are pretty sweet!

Commemorative Concert Card: North Korea Visit
This was given as a memento to concert goers at the Philharmonic's first Lincoln Center performance following their historic North Korea performance. It contains a letter from Zarin Mehta and photographic highlights from the trip.

Asia 2008 Tour
The typography for this identity is based on Chinese calligraphy, and the incorporated image is an original bamboo inking by artist Nan Rae. Red is the color of the Chinese New Year, which was being celebrated during the tour. We also included a red chop representing the Year of the Rat.

Concerts in the Parks 2008
The 2008 Concerts in the Parks design was printed on a 100% organic cotton t-shirt using water soluble inks. Custom illustration and typography by us, of course!

Opening Night Banners
Located in the median between Broadway and Seventh Avenue in front of Lincoln Center, these 75 eight-foot banners pulled double duty, celebrating Opening Night and announcing the Philharmonic's partnership with their new global sponsor, Credit Suisse.

Concerts in the Parks 2007
It's always a fun challenge to create a design for the Concerts in the Parks because there are many aspects of the event: finding nature in the middle of the city, food and friends, fireworks and of course the amazing music! Why choose? Everything coming together is what makes the event so unique, so we included it all in one identity.

Tour of Italy Identity
Three notes the color of Italy and Lorin Maazel's hands are the basis of this identity that was applied to posters, banners, t-shirts, gifts and more.

Commemorative Concert Card: Guinness World Record
When the New York Philharmonic played its 14,000th concert, they set the record for the most concerts given by any philharmonic orchestra in the world. This concert card was given to attendees of that milestone performance.
