The East Village Community Coalition (EVCC) works to recognize, support, and sustain the built and cultural character of the East Village. We were proud to team-up with an organization that shares WORKSHOP’s belief in sustainable and local initiatives.
Get Local Guide
WORKSHOP partnered with the EVCC to produce this guide to over 300 neighborhood shops, galleries, entertainment and cafés. In line with the EVCC's goal of local sustainability, WORKSHOP chose sustainable materials; including responsibly forested, FSC certified paper and soy inks. The 2006 guide was distributed free-of-charge through the participating businesses. Copies were snatched up quickly, and generated strong interest in EVCC's mission. We received an enthusiastic request from the EVCC for a second edition, which was released in 2007.
