Philharmonic Perks

We love working with the New York Philharmonic Public Relations team.

They come to us with ideas like, “Why don’t we sink 75 flags into the planter in front of Lincoln Center for Opening Night?” And we say, “Let’s do it!” Then they say, “By the way, we need barricade covers as well.”

Finding flagpoles and managing the production of nine-foot-high flags (with big help from our printer Charles Samples) in under two weeks was a challenge, but it was well worth it. The Philharmonic was able to promote the partnership they’ve begun with their new global sponsor, Credit Suisse, and WORKSHOP was invited to sit down front at their dress rehearsal featuring Lorin Maazel and Yo-Yo Ma. We even received champagne and chocolates to thank us for a job well done!
