We are all designers and all highly creative, but each in our own way, which gives us complementary skill sets. We respect that and structure projects accordingly. We all sit in the same space, share the same air, and care deeply about one another. We are happy. So are our clients.

Jessi Arrington

Founder / Designer

Within WORKSHOP, Jessi is most frequently referred to as "Coach" both for her tendency to take the lead and for her extreme can-do attitude. She's a perfectionist and an optimist. Her favorite color is rainbow and her default answer is YES. She’s taught Design Fundamentals at Touro College, given guest lectures at NYU, and sorted trash on behalf of Barack Obama. Before co-founding WORKSHOP, she carried out branding for Brooklyn Brewery, Tomato Records and Lion Brand Yarn under the direction of Milton Glaser. She studied fine arts at Mississippi State and earned a degree in graphic design from the Art Institute of Dallas. Jessi is oddly proud of having been voted Hardest Worker by her eighth grade class in Starkville, Mississippi.

Creighton Mershon

Founder / Designer

Creighton was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, which is considered by many to be either the northern-most southern city or the southern-most northern city, which is probably what gives him the ability to blend and make friends wherever he goes. It’s this same ability that earns him the nickname Face (as in the A-Team), and trust us, no one doesn’t love Creighton Mershon. Prior to co-founding WORKSHOP, he studied design at Parsons and later worked in the creative design department of Tommy Hilfiger’s corporate offices designing all things Tommy, from catalogs to packaging. Before that, Creighton double-majored in sociology and communication at Boston College, while at the same time growing an impressive set of dreads. His passion is soccer, although he beats most everyone at most everything.

Josh Stewart

Founder / Designer

Josh is our resident web nerd and de facto IT department, although he’d never admit to either. He’s the much needed practical, logical and rational voice of WORKSHOP and brings his impressive organizational skills to every project he works on. Before co-founding WORKSHOP, Josh designed materials for Columbia University Medical Center and GHI under the direction of Hershell George. When not working with his favorite color palette - greyscale - he can be found enjoying life in beautiful Brooklyn with his wife, Sarah.
